Bruegger's Bagels Goes Green For St. Pat's

Bruegger's Bagels is bringing back its famous shamrock-green bagels March 14-17, continuing a St. Patrick's Day tradition that has had Bruegger's fans flocking into bakeries each March for nearly 25 years.Because the St. Pat's bagels are so popular, Bruegger's has extended the number of days the coveted green bagels are available in-bakery to four days this year instead of just three. They can be purchased individually or by the dozen on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

Bakeries will also begin accepting preorders earlier than ever this year. Beginning March 3, guests can call their local bakeries to order green dozens or Big Bagel Bundles (13 bagels plus two tubs of 100% made-in-Vermont cream cheese).

"For decades, our green bagels have been the centerpiece of our fans' St. Patrick's Day celebrations," said Bruegger's Bagels Director of National Promotions and Media Michelle Martin. "They add a fresh-baked, festive touch to pre-parade breakfast spreads and are a delicious, fun treat to share at the office or school celebrations."

Though green in color, Bruegger's St. Paddy's bagels are the gold standard of bagels. They're handcrafted in small batches daily in the authentic New York-style way: first kettle-boiled and then stone hearth-baked to perfection to create a crisp egg-shell crust with a chewy center.

Guests can get a free green bagel (or any flavor they choose) with cream cheese by joining the Bruegger's Inner Circle Rewards Program at www.brueggers.com. By joining, they will receive other exclusive offers year-round as well as 2 points for every $1 spent to redeem for their favorite menu items.
