Foodie Con 2019 took place earlier this month April 6-7 at the Reef in Los Angeles. The event was a heaven for anyone who likes food - and who doesn't like food!? There were many booths giving out free samples of their products. One of the great treats I found there was the Fookie. It's fudge and a cookie. I sampled a few of the different flavors but I found my favorite to be the "Bumpy Road Fookie", which is basically a chocolate chip cookie with rocky road fudge on top. Outside of the convention Allegro Coffee was giving out free beverages to attendees. The interesting part was that not everyone knew that the beverages were free, so often an attendee would come order something and then say, "How much?", getting the reply "Free!". I'm sure that made their day.

Inside of the convention you could find a Food Court area where you could purchase some great food from vendors such as nachos, tamales, and more.

You could also find some sweet Foodie Con merchandise to remember all of your foodie adventures.

Sort of hidden away, you could find the VIP lounge complete with a giant unicorn inflatable floatie! I didn't find it until I was leaving because it was a little hidden thru a hallway.
Overall I feel like Foodie Con is a great convention to visit, especially if you love food (like me!). Next year's dates for Foodie Con haven't been announced yet, but once they are you can be sure you'll find it on our website!
